Review: Basic rifle sling that is probably worth the price - Seems to be descent quality. The length adjusting clasp seems fairly minimalist but appears to work fine. No instructions, or a tag saying if you need some cordage start hear and tie-off like this; I’m assuming there is a smart and cleaver way harvest cord (probably the glued/burnt spot, the picture implies that but mine does not have the extra cord shown). I’m pretty certain if your going to do a tourniquet, cordage and shoelaces are not recommended as they themselves can cause nerve and arterial damage that can contribute too amputation. I think that fun fact was discovered during the 1st gulf war. I can’t imagine ever having to cut this apart, but the price was right for a basic rifle sling that would see very little use, so why not, the knotted section has a comfortable quality feal too it; time will tell if it self unravels. Durable
I didn’t use it as a rifle holder but maybe my review or idea will help out someone who’s wanting an Engel cooler strap without the $70 Etsy price tag. I altered it into a strap for my Engel cooler using a kit from Amazon that came with buckles, d-rings, and nylon straps . Worked out perfectly with some adjustments . May not look as cool as the straight paracord straps, but it does its purpose for me at least .

Great little sling
I really like this little sling. It isn't anything special, but it actually looks pretty good on my little Rossi .22. I bought another one to put on one of my shotguns, might get more since they are so inexpensive. Seems pretty durable and easy to put on, probably took less than a minute....should fit just about any long gun I would guess.
