Removable top and very quiet fan
I am very happy with this case. I had a Raspberry Pi 4 in a different case and the fan made a constant, annoying whine. This case was purchased to relace the other one. The Pi already had heatsinks, so I did not use the ones included with this case. This iUniker case has a very large fan but the fan runs, as far as I can tell, completely silent when using the 3.3 volt power using pins 1 and 14. The case keeps the Pi slightly cooler than the prior case that it replaced. This solved my noise problem, performs well, it looks good, and provides easy access to the microSD on the bottom and to the GPIO pins. This is a great case and I will probably be purchasing more of them.

I didn't think an enclosure kit could make me smile...
The product is exactly as advertized, but the description leaves out a few features that I think should be noted. First, the kit comes with a total of 10 screws. The build uses 8. Now, extra screws aren't that uncommon, but adding a fifth to sets of four is not something you expect nowadays. It's a really nice touch that they would do that, as simple of an extra as it is. Secondly, the little screwdriver they include for assembly is slightly magnitized. If you drop a screw somewhere, or get it stuck in one of the holes, you can just pull it out with the included screwdriver. Helps a lot for lining them up vertically without worrying about the screw dropping, too. Thirdly, the case is very solid. It's ABS Plastic, but the finish looks as professional as molded plastic can, with no visible deformities and clear resessed lettering. It doesn't flex at all on either axis. Its small size does help it in this regard, as that reduces the resultant moment of torque applied, but still. It's amazing how many people put out an awful junky case, and this case is not one of them. Fourthly, the fan works very well. The bearing is smooth, and it is decent at providing real pressure difference and airflow for its size. It's not magic, it does make a bit of a humming noise and certianly is not 'whisper quiet', but it's not loud or overbearing at all. Fifthly, if you happen to install the fan on backwards, the connector wires are long enough to allow you to easily install it on the fan headers anyway. It's not a tight fit, either, easily doable. Such a small thing to include, but a major fustration saver. And, finally, on my unit, they put a little black sticker over the fan information sticker, because the sticker would normally be pressing up against the grate and be visible against the black case. This is a product where it is very clear that the designers really put user experience as one of their main concerns. I am a mechanical engineer by trade, and I can tell that this is a product that was really, actually designed, not just built to spec. As it is the only Raspberry Pi case I've ever purchased, I can't say for sure that it is the best, highest quality, best looking one at a good price. But I can say it's good looking, high quality, very reasonable for its price and built in such a way that it is clear the designers care about how it will be for a user to assemble the unit and what it will look like when done. They got both beautifully right, and the affordances and thought put into it just made me smile while I assembled it.

Excellent Raspberry Pi 4 Case with Effective Cooling System
The Raspberry Pi 4 Case from iUniker is a standout product that exceeded my expectations. Made from durable ABS material, it provides excellent protection for my Raspberry Pi 4 while offering a precise fit with all the necessary port cutouts. The integrated cooling fan is a game-changer. It effectively dissipates heat during resource-intensive tasks, preventing overheating and ensuring optimal performance. The fan operates silently, making it suitable for quiet environments. The user-friendly design is another highlight. The top cover is easily removable, granting quick access to the Raspberry Pi 4 board for setup and maintenance. The case also features vents and openings strategically placed to facilitate efficient airflow and maintain a stable operating temperature. Aesthetically, the case impresses with its sleek matte finish and minimalist design, making it a stylish addition to any setup. In summary, the iUniker Raspberry Pi 4 Case combines durability, efficient cooling, user-friendliness, and aesthetics. It offers excellent protection while enhancing the Raspberry Pi 4's performance. I highly recommend this case to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient Raspberry Pi 4 case.

Idle temperature: 37 C with Rasp Pi 4
TL;DR Overall, for $11 quite happy with the purchase. The product has a pretty good production quality, it works well and I have no complaints. Temperatures Previously, without any case or heat sinks my Pi's idle temp was 51 C I have a Raspberry Pi 4 in the case, which it cools to 37 C at idle with the fan at low speed. At this speed, the fan isn't audible beyond a foot. At high speed, oddly enough, idle temperature was a constant 40 C. I'm guessing this is because running the fan itself adds some temperature. I haven't tested it at load but I would assume higher fan speed is better at load. It is also quite a bit louder, as I can hear it from a fair few feet away. Case Just received the product so the following is all first thoughts. The case, being plastic, doesn't interfere with wifi connectivity unlike some metal cases. It has pretty good production quality as well, there's no sharp edges on the case itself. It looks and feels quite good actually, it fits snuggly around all of the ports and looks really natural around the USB ports at close inspection, not quite the same for the micro HDMI ports but how often do you plan on looking really closely at the case? Instruction Manual The instruction isn't entirely just plain paper, it's the synthetic kind thats common among instruction manuals. It has a pretty easy to read sections about to install the heatsinks and how to properly use the fan. One thing to mention is that the manual itself doesn't say use the screws to secure to Rasp pi to the bottom panel of the case, and an other thing to mention is that it comes 5 screws of each type, rather than just 4. Which is a nice touch. The manual also says it has a 12 month warranty if you email them, have not tried that though.

Great value!
Great case for a great price. I replaced this for my old case when the fan noise started to become unbearable. I put the fan in the 3v pin and it runs basically silent. I also like that it came with the magnetic screwdriver and the rubberized feet to keep it in place.

Very nice Raspberry Pi 4B case
This is a very simple case, heatsink, and fan set, but it is well worth the 11 bucks it costs. The Raspberry Pi 4B (RPi) board fits perfectly, and is held securely in place by screws. The fan fits onto the lid well and is hidden once the unit is assembled, and it's several mm larger than other fans I've seen with cases. This makes it more efficient at its job - cooling the RPi. The heat sinks that go on the chips of the board help a lot, too. Before I put my board (which I use as a network packet capture device to troubleshoot my clients' networks with) into this kit, it ran at around at about 65-75 degrees Celsius. With this this kit, it runs closer to 40-45 degrees. My only wish is that I could find a version of this kit that also includes an RPi, a power supply, and a micro-HDMI adapter. I think it would give Canakit a real run for their money! The only downside is that the fan is not silent, but it is still quite quiet. Edit: I originally wrote my review back in September, 2018. It is now February, 2021, and I still love this case! I have 2 of them. I just have a couple of things to add about it. First, this case DOES NOT fit the Raspberry Pi 3B or 3B+ boards without what I would consider serious modification. Those boards have a single full-sized HDMI port, and the network jack is on the left side of the end with it and the USB ports. The 4B has the network jack on the right, with the USB ports shifted to accommodate this change. This change was made to make room for the audio jack to be moved to make room for the 2 Micro HDMI ports on the 4B. These may seem like minor changes, but they really get in the way when trying to fit one board model into a case made for the other model. Second, the reviewer who said the fan wires get in the way of the fan didn't mount his fan correctly. If you install the fan properly, there's no problem whatsoever. My wires are neatly out of the way, and always have been. I did make sure that the fan was mounted in such a way that the wires just neatly route themselves, which required some thought and rotating the fan body to the proper orientation on the lid, but it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. That reviewer simply needs to remove the mounting screws from the fan and rotate it 90 degrees one way or the other (or maybe 180 degrees) and the issue would vanish.

Awesome case, very easy to set up
I recently became interested in buying a Raspberry Pi 4B after learning about all the cool things that people can do with such a tiny little computer. This was my first time ever putting together a Raspberry Pi or ever owning one. I was a little bit worried because some people were saying that in some Raspberry Pi cases the holes on the case might be too small or might block certain cables from connecting to the ports on the Raspberry Pi 4B but I used the official Raspberry Pi power connector with this case and an AmazonBasics branded Micro HDMI to Regular HDMI cable with this case and I didnt have any problems fitting them in the Raspberry Pi sockets. The MicroSD card was a little scary to put in and out though because on the new Raspberry Pi 4B the MicroSD card slot doesnt have a little eject mechanism that lets you push the card in to lock it in place and push it in agian to push the card out, instead now with the new Raspberry Pi 4B the MicroSD card just slides in and out freely without any clicking noise (I thought mine was broken at first). This case came with some really neat accessories too, I thought that I would need to take out my tool box and look for the correct screwdriver for the screws but the case came with a mini screwdriver with a magnetic tip that holds the screws on the screwdriver while your using it which is pretty neat. I did have a little bit of a problem aligning the heatsinks up because the adhesive is really difficult to pull off once they stick on to a surface area and the heatsinks were a little bit difficult to align properly on each surface, and on some surfaces the heatsinks get a little bit too close to the circuits on the board (like the big long heatsink) . Some of the heatsinks were a little too big like the big long heatsink that almost touches a white circuit on the top of that heatsink but it wasnt wide enough to cover the whole surface of where that heatsink is labeled to be placed in the manual, I tried to move it around but after the adhesive sets in its really difficult to peel off and I didnt want to damage the Raspberry Pi. The fan that comes along with this kit is pretty silent, I cant hear it even on the high setting. Overall I would recommend this case, its definitely better than some of the acrylic cases out there and this case is one of the ones that people have reviewed that achieves some of the lowest temperatures.

Nice case. Loud fan.
Case is nice. Easy to assemble. Durable. The only issue is the loud, whining, high-pitched fan. I cannot tolerate it. I can hear it in the next room. I purchased a 40mm noctua fan so hopefully it will be much quieter.

Overall its quite good product
it was easy to assemble, its fan is quiet, sdcard slot is designed good enough. I saw some people complained about its top can get out really easy and quality of plastic. however, my raspberry just sits under my desk so cannot comment regarding those. overall it is a quite good case for me.

Solid Quality Case with Near-Silent Fan - works perfectly to cool my PI4
I read a few negative reviews so I was worried this case wouldn't be great. Turns out it is fantastic and i would highly recommend it. Goes together easily. Keeps the pi at a nice 32 degrees C and doesn't make a sound. Looks nice and is super sturdy.

Exactly what I expected
Quick and easy to put together, but I've done this with a variety of Pi devices over the years. Quality heat sinks and the fan helped take my device from being too warm to the touch to something that gives me peace of mind, which is what I wanted.

Nice case but spotty fan
Worked fine until half a year later when one of the fans started scraping due to a warped housing or bearing. It was kept inside 24/7 and left untouched while running. Easily replaced with a 3rd party fan, of course.
