I used this carrier on my Dodge Durango with roof racks. It is very well made with quality straps and zipper. The straps have velcro ends so all you need to do is roll them up and velcro the ends instead of tying the hanging straps together. I bought the 20 cubic feet size and it fit perfect on top of the Durango. We had 2 travel size suitcases, 1 large gym bag, and 3 other gym backs on top and still had room. It was easy to tie down to the racks. It also comes with a pad that fit perfectly between the racks. Make sure you tuck any extra pad under the carrier or it will flop and make noise - speaking from experience. It took us maybe 10 minutes to load the carrier and strap it down - and we were on our way. Very impressed with the quality and it folds back up into a nice storage bag. It also comes with door hook tiedowns for vehicles without a roof rack but I didn't use them. It also includes a couple of extra tie down straps but we didn't use them either. The zipper is well protected by a large velcro flap to keep out the elements. We had 6 people on the trip and we had no bags in the vehicle. I would definitely recommend this carrier - well worth the price.

This cargo bag did exactly what we needed it to. Needed additional space for a 10hr drive as we moved and this cargo bag did trick. QUALITY: It feels a bit flimsy, the zippers could be beefier, but it overall held up great. The straps/buckles are solid, the stitching all appears to be well done & durable. It is NOT 100% WATERPROOF though. I had to pack this the day before our drive, and it unfortunately rained that day. Sitting stationary in the rain for a solid 14hrs and it did let some water in, but not a lot at all. Our stuff was packed in hard shelled suitcases & some duffles inside of garbage bags, so everything was fine. Plan on doing some extra waterproofing yourself. INSTALLATION: Seriously couldn’t be easier. We don’t have cross bars, only rails, and securing it was no problem at all. After doing some test drives I have 0 concerns about it being safe. Very satisfied here. STORAGE: • 1 L suitcase • 1 M suitcase • 2 carryons • 2 duffles • 2 sets of 15-20 shirts on hangers in bags Probably could’ve fit more soft items, but the suitcases made zipping it a bit tight. USE: This was on our roof for 12+hrs in the rain BEFORE our 10hr drive. It was sturdy, secure, SURPRISINGLY QUIET, and as I mentioned above waterproof enough to not worry, but not 100%

We didn't know if we were going to like it or not. But all we knew was that we needed the room. 1100 miles round trip - absolutely fabulous. Are only wish was maybe a little more firmness on the bottom where it rests on top of the roof of the car. We had strapped it on backwards on the first leg of our trip - not realizing it until we were parked ( gas millage got worse by a couple miles per gallon compared to normal). We got it on correctly for the return trip ( gas millage got significantly better). It held 2 big suitcases, 2 big duffle bags, 2 body pillows and we still could have put more in it. Would definitely recommend.

I stuffed this so full I could hardly zip it up, two suitcases and three huge storage bags. The zipper stayed perfectly in tact, it is STRONG. I left SoCal during a rare rain storm and drove 20 hours through constant rain and snow to central Idaho. I checked multiple times throughout the trip and saw the water beading right off. There was not one drop of water inside the bag when I got to my destination! Everything was dry and clean. No noise during the drive. Easy to set up and take down. I hardly ever leave reviews, but this one is worth it!!!! It was also cheaper than some other cargo bags I was looking at. Highly recommend!

I like the way it looks on my car can be difficult to zip at times but over time you find ways for it to easier been in rain multiple times and all my items in side are always dry I rode with it up to 50mph before with one side both buckles on hooked to turns and all and it held up I didn't notice I just remember I didn't buckle them I got the smaller one and I'm able to fit a car mattress my sleeping bag a pop up tent a blanket extra shoes and and pair of close in the car backpack I call it all this stuff is folded of course I don't want you picture it the wrong way long story short it holds up and you should buy one it's cheap and well made well it's cheaper I should say cheaper than others out there car that it's on 2010 Honda fit

For most part it's a good product. Sturdy material. Easy to put on the car. The lock it comes with is not the best, but maybe getting a different lock would be ok. My biggest complain is if you use this product without the car rack and use the door frame, rain water will come into your car. Something I didn't think about. I bought this product because I don't have a roof rack but yes, the rain leaks inside the car in all points that the straps are attached to. We made sure the rubber was snugged and sealed against the car but it leaks still. The bag itself and everything inside stays dry but you won't in the car. Trying to figure that part out.

worked great , traveled 2500 miles, mostly at 80 miles an hour.... from extreme cold to desert.....no problems at all will say it was challenging getting it strapped on in 8 degree weather. Canvas was very stiff and zipper was not so easy to zip....

We bought this for our trip to NY from Colorado. It holds plenty and is a great for when you don't have room for a full body cartop shell. The ropes were a little difficult to figure out, but held very firmly! However, the ropes did cause the rain to leak into the car (understandably), and our things did get slightly damp, although not soaked. We had to drive through a massive rainstorm, with buckets of rain, so a little dampness is expected, but it stood ip surprisingly well considering the circumstances. I recommend adding extra layers of water protection when using this over hardtop shells. (Plastic bags for your clothes. Avoid things that could get water-damaged, etc), but over all it stood up very well to the trip, with no damage to itself or our car.

This works great for short or long distance trips. Although, it’s not entirely waterproof. It was great driving, even in the rain. But, it’s when we were camping, and we were hit with torrential rainfall thunderstorms is when a bit of water leaked through. Thankfully most of our stuff was unpacked out of the bag, so nothing really got ruined or damaged. And then, we just opened it up on top of the car, in the sun to dry out. Straps and zippers all held on great even while driving high speeds. It’s good sturdy material. I have a small Mazda 3 with no roof rack. It sets up super easy and in no time. One person is able to do it, but much easier with two people.

Tried it for the first time and it worked as described. Feels like good quality. The instructions were not so clear, but I was able to use it. It wasnt raining so cant comment on waterproofing. Overall i’m happy with it, it fitted 2 large suitcases 2 carryons and smaller bags/items. Saves lots of space.
