Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen) Adjustable Stand with USB-C Charging Port | Cloud Blue

I've always been against all things Alexa (privacy, etc.), same with all things Google (oh so much with Google). I'm extremely tech savvy and have been for 40 years... so it's not that I don't understand technology, instead it's that I understand it a bit too much to be comfortable with the loss of anonymity and oh so much more. That being said, it's not like any of us aren't or can't be tracked in countless other ways in this day and age (sadly and uncomfortably), so I finally broke down and bought 2 of these Echo's and I've got to say... WOW, game changer, life changer. I'm still learning some of the ins and outs, and I'm not paying for a subscription, but even without paying for anything, just the ability to see my orders on Amazon, track them to some degree, the music that's included, shopping lists, pairing the 2 so that the one upstairs and downstairs both mirror each other - all of it, total game changer. Quality of the device it's is excellent as is the sound! While paired each of the 2 only use 1 speaker and the sound quality is phenomenal even with 1 speaker! Installation was cake (though if you've been avoiding all things in this arena for as long as I have, you may want to play around with and don't rush yourself to learn all of the settings in a second or even 1 days, just get your privacy setup as quick as possible lol, I started playing with reminders, routines and alarms all at time, and too quickly, and then had to reset and start anew - I had way too much going on without a full understanding (again, I read nothing lol). It's very sturdy, but I did also buy the stands for them, which I can also say is a game changer - I wouldn't like them without the stands, the stands help get it off the furniture, make it look more sleek and allow you to put it into any direction you like (I definitely recommend the stands - unsure why they aren't sold with them, in my opinion they should be). It looks great, it's compact enough to fit anywhere, but not too small where you can't see it - adjustment ability is a little tricky until you get/learn the right touch, which I become better at each day. All in all I think these are GREAT. *** Note: If you're an iPhone user as I am, it might take a few days to learn your Hey Siri from your Alexa LOL. That took a few days and I laughed through it all, I now feel like I'm either cheating on, or broke up with Siri lol. I definitely recommend these little game changers!

Got this for our Dad's room, as he's older, and the video drop in function allows the ability to check on him without having to disturb him by going in the room.

This item is very nice, but now I wish I had ordered a larger unit. This is excellent for a desk top.

I don’t like how it can’t seem to keep the time displayed! It also seems to have some problems with my Southern/Scottish accent! The old one seemed better.

ordered the blue by accident but it’s still perfect .it tilts effortlessly . It was easy to install. it’s worth the money and it’s durable

Really like the Alexa. Kids like it also, because they can get on there and play games and listen to music. Thinking about getting another one for a friend. I like to shut the camera off, so it doesn’t start saying hello as soon as it sees you.

I feel like this product should have been a part of the echo show 5 and it shouldn’t be a seperate purchase. Having said that it’s excellent. It does what it is suppose to do. Seems strong. Good connectivity as it adds a port which you can use to charge other devices like a phone. It makes the echo sit right and look better. Without the base it looks like there is something missing. It tilts and gives good adjustability.
