I have med-low porosity hair with type 2A and some 2B "s" waves. It's very thin, fine, and frizzy - an inch or 2 below my shoulders. Mousses, curl creams, and gels all either weight my hair down, make it greasy, make it feel brittle (my hair HATES protein, drying alcohols, heavy oils/ butters, & coconut) or makes my hair color darker. I'm a natural dark blonde with silvers creeping in by the day. Chat GPT recommended this after my leave ins to control the frizz and give the waves some more control. I only use 1/2 pea size to a pea size - rub it in between my hands and then scrunch the waves and smooth some over the canopy for frizz. So far, it is the best I've used! No crunchiness! Not sticky! For 2nd day hair, I can lightly mist my frizzy areas and use just a touch applied to the frizzy areas and my hair looks like day 1 hair again! (Usually I can never wear my hair down on day 2 hair bc the frizz.) Do I still have some frizz? Yes. However, I lost quite a bit of hair and I'm growing it back so I have little wavy hairs in all different lengths sticking up all over my head. This does help A LOT! Best of all, my hair isn't greasy or darker looking! Also, my hair is still incredibly soft. I hate the feeling of product in my hair as I am always rubbing my hands through my hair or switching up my part when my hair is dry. I have not tried this for defusing, only air drying. I was a little afraid to try it bc of the price. However, with the tiny amount I use this bottle will last me FOREVER!

Best curl activator product I've found yet. I have serious wavy hair, fine, glassy and tons of it. Doesn't leave my hair crunchy or sticky and only takes a pea and a half size portion for my nearly shoulder length hair. No buildup. Scent is light and pleasant. I apply and then scrunch my curls up with a damp washcloth. A little nervous as I've used it for a number of ears and I'm afraid they'll tinker with the formula or discontinue it. Please don't!

I have frizzy, low-density, and baby fine 3B curly hair. Without any products my hair looks like Einstein’s (but brown). A few products are good sometimes depending on the weather, or for part of the day. This is my best product, always good, no matter the weather, makes my hair look thicker and gives it smooth, shiny ringlets without the frizz or stringiness. Slight crunch (cast) is broken up w one gently run of the hands over my hair. My hair’s best product and for some reason I keep trying others but this is THE ONE.

I love the product and it helps my curls stay all day. It isn’t stiff and I can blow dry and use a pick to form a style, I just have a hard time with the price. Even on Amazon it was $40 and I had a massive hemorrhagic stroke so I live on disability. I watched a girl’s video and her hair came out beautiful. She showed the two products she uses. This one and another one (that is cheaper) so I thought I would just use the other one. No way!!!!! It makes my hair stiff and sticky! I love how hydrated this product makes my curls they dont look dry and brittle. It keeps my curls so nice for multiple days. I've recieved much more compliments about my curls I have alot of shrinkage but this has defines each curl. Worth every penny ! I didnt want to believe the hype because I seen so many instagram curly hair influencers using it. Once I tried it I learned they werent being PAID it was a real authentic review. My curls have never looked this good I've noticed a huge difference in my hair it looks healthier.

I almost think that his product could make straight hair curl! One side of my head is quite curly while the other side is less so. Using this product has been a revelation for me. I am not a big fan of using hair products. For one thing trying out products is costly and most don’t work all that well for me. Another issue is that many products can irritate my scalp. With AG Recoil (which my hair stylist recommended to me) both sides of my hair maintain my curls, my picky scalp is not irritated at all and I have no qualms about using extra when needed. My curls are never sticky, or “crusty” and a water spritz revives full curl during the day or in the morning . AG MUST stay in business and they can never change or stop making Recoil! It really is a near miracle!
