They are carefully arranged to make you laugh - A lovely item, a bright shimmering object to hold in your hands. This book also includes many words, and aside from the "the"s and "a"s, the words are generally funny. They are carefully arranged to make you laugh. Review: Meh - This book felt quite long. Turns out you can only take mediocre feminist satire for so long. I thought I would really enjoy this, but when I think about it the only things I really liked from reductress' website were their headlines. I never opened up their articles, and that's basically how this book went. The titles were funny but all the articles dragged the joke on way too long. Don't get me wrong there were some funny tidbits but not enough. I would recommend this as a coffee table book that you just pick up and read a section of once in a while, but don't read this straight through like I did. Also don't really recommend leaving this on your coffee table cause there's some pretty inappropriate stuff in here. Double also Plinky was weird.

a complete waste of time
Unreadable, a complete waste of time, a total disappointment and a frustration to finish. I don't like spending a bunch of money and not finishing books, but this one was so irritating I almost didn't get through it. This book is the definition of "reaching". Reductress is great for cute, ironic little articles, but this was an entire book of not-funny, trying-too-hard IRONY and it was like pulling teeth. I LOVE Reductress. I HATE this book.

Not as funny as I expected
It was OK. Not as funny as I expected. I am a big fan of Guerrilla Girls, and find their book hilarious. I do really like Reductress, and do definitely enjoy their humor, but I suppose my expectations for THIS particular book were a bit too high.

Just Okay
I love the humor of Reductress but I found this book to be a bit boring, actually. The jokes dragged on too long, though the satire is spot on.

I'm winning already....brilliant book to give as a present and to keep in the house, dip in to have everything.... Certainly takes your brain out for a walk....and it's damn funny

It's okay. I just find it difficult to connect with the book, even on a satirical level. Well worth a read though.
