Academy 1: 1000 - R.M.S.Titanic MCP For 14 years and over.

Our swim club gives out Titanic models every year for over 6 years. This was the first year with this particular model. It was a big hit with the kids (easy assembly) and gorgeous. Plan to buy several this summer.

Certainly recommend. There are no tools needed. Just join the plastic pieces in place. Also the materials are organized in groups and labeled so it is easy to follow along with instructions which I appreciate. Just be careful when removing the plastic. There are small pieces that can be broken so maybe I recommend using tweezers for more control. Took me approx 1 hr to assemble.

This was fun to put together for my 5 year old ! He will be keeping it on his nightstand with the rest of his collectors! The size is smaller and lightweight and the pieces are small so I would not recommend if your toddler likes to play with the toys but if your child can actually set it somewhere it’s a really cool model !

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and she loves it.

My 8 yr old son took about an 1 1/2 hours to put it together all by himself. Super easy and didn't ask for help. He did use tweezers a little bit but mostly his hands. Im pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. The directions were good and he was able to follow along. I would recommend this item for younger children. The detail is nice. Only thing I would say is a child couldn't play rough and I would suggest to put it on a shelf. My son put it together as soon as ot came and hasn't put it down since. The towers broke but only because he doesn't want to put out down. He said the wires didn't stick well. I'll use hot glue to fix it.

It’s listed at 14 years and older. My boy is 7 and had no problem with it. He’s probably a little more advanced than some kids with puzzles but I wouldn’t be afraid to gift this to a child that had parental supervision. Also says no glue. There was just 2 pieces that ended up needing glue. For the price, it was a great project. Everything was molded good and snapped in place great. There is a 1/64 scale hot wheels size truck in the photo for size reference.

Small parts such as flag poles break easily. It doesn’t make sense when the small plastic connect (to hold the parts in the kit) is harder to break then the part itself (you have to break the connect to get the parts out and parts might break before the connect plastic breaks).

I gotta say I’m thoroughly impressed. I paid $13 for this thing and it looks great. It was easy to assemble by a nine year-old. Zero frustrating moments. Only one piece doesn’t fit right and will need a touch of glue. Everything else snapped together perfectly. Easy to understand directions. The colors are great. All the way down to the gold pieces.
