Men's South Street Sport 36mm Watch Box Set

First of all, the shipment was really quick, and the package was completely fine - no scratches, both boxes inside and outside were untouched. The watch itself was absolutely as described and in the picture, everything perfect! I believe that things can tell about their owner, and for this great price you get a watch that looks simple yet serious and high quality. I used to have another Timex which I lost about a year ago. Now I have one again, and with all the new devices of today, it is nice to have something which runs on a battery for a loooong time! As far as features, the numbers on the face and teh hands are easily readable, and the famous INDIGLO makes sure that happens in all conditions. The crown is designed in such a way that the notches which make it easy to turn still make it look completely smooth. The bracelet is long enough for people with larger wrists, but can be adjusted even on your own, which I did at home without special equipment in about 40 minutes after looking at some instructions. The size of the watch itself is just a bit smaller than what you find in "standard" men's watches, but still works fine for me. The face is covered with very nice mineral glass which will resist scratching from most things you may encounter at home or at work. As far as disadvantages, if you are concerned about the bracelet catching your hair, its true, but only when you take it on or off, and doesn't bother me, even though I am of a "more hairy" kind of guy. Also, in the picture, the watch piece looked somewhat thick, but now that I have it on my nand, it doesn't look that day. Otherwise, there is nothing else to mention really. It is a nice watch which will do what it's supposed to for many years if it doesn't accidentally get damaged by something serious. Overall, this design of a watch is good if you like something good-looking and practical and without unnecessary "bling", even if you are young.

Great watch , keeps perfect time.

Overlooked the fact that this is a stretchy band. Even with the elastic style recoil, I still needed to bring to a jeweler to take out a few notches. After resizing, it now fits comfortably and I appreciate not having to mess with a clasp each time I put it on and take it off. It is a simple and tasteful Swiss watch by Timex. I wanted something clean that I could wear casually or formally dressed that would match my gold wedding band. The two tone looks nice and classy while the light face is clearly legible. The gold-toned numbers make the watch feel a little more upscale. For the price point, I won't be precious about it, but I can still feel good about having a nice timepiece to grab when I want to feel a bit more dressed up. There's something satisfying about looking at the the easily legible light dial, with the gold tone numbers. I thought about exchanging it for a different two tone watch, but I couldn't bring myself to part with it.

Nice looking watch for the price. I could see it being a great start to a collection. It looks classy, but still casual enough to wear with anything. If you have a smaller wrist, you can remove a couple links from the wristband to adjust it to be smaller. You just need a small flat head screwdriver to bend out the tabs on the side and pull out the fasteners. You can find videos for similar wristbands on YouTube. If you are on the upper end of the given wrist size range, it may look a bit small on you.

This is the second watch that I purchased, I thought that the first one was defective because I bought it used and I figured it wouldn't have a users manual which it didn't, so I bought a new one which came in just a box with no users manual either. I downloaded the user manual, specifically on how to adjust the day and date, but the instructions were worthless. I was able to adjust the day and date on my "new" watch only because of YouTube, turns out that you have to pull the stem out all the way and adjust the time back or forth for 24 hours just to change the day. There was nothing in the instructions about having to do that, Timex needs to do a better job!

As I was contemplating buying another Timex (I was very happy with my previous one that lasted several years as a work watch), I was not concerned about the style, or quality, or price of this watch. I was concerned about the mention from several people that it might be too small. I have a smaller wrist, so I ordered it and am very happy that I did. It is very nice and fit me perfectly. Secondly, the issue about the wristband "pulling your arm hairs". This is a legitimate concern. If you have really hairy wrists, it could be a factor. Again, in my case it was not an issue I would highly recommend any Timex watch. Excellent value!
